Flat rivets in the 1.6 mm size, that is in the largest size this sub-range of GAS HANS small modeling material offers. The head is low, but thanks to its diameter it stays prominent even on large surfaces and under several coats of paint. The package holds neither a model nor a part of one: it is an add-on material to be seated on your own build.
The largest size is at the same time the most demanding to lay out: a row of large heads cannot be discreetly adjusted once seated, so measure the surface out beforehand and keep checking the distances from the edges. The base has to be flat, sanded and dusted, otherwise the head will not seat on its whole underside and a gap will appear. Apply the paint in thin layers and draw out the outline of the heads with a wash at the end. A dry brush with a lighter shade will bring out the top face and the surface will gain the relief that paint alone would not give it.
For builders in large scales, diorama makers and the authors of conversions who need a coarser riveted texture than ordinary plastic parts offer. It also suits as a complement to the finer sizes of the same sub-range.
