Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Douglas A-1J (formerly designated AD-7) Skyraider attack airplane in the large 1:32 scale from the maker Trumpeter. It is a large and richly broken-down kit with a well worked out engine and cockpit and the option of folded wings. The package contains clear parts and decals; the exact number of parts and the contents of the package are not stated here.
The Skyraider was a single-seat piston-engine attack airplane that entered service only after the Second World War, and yet became a legend over Korea and Vietnam. It was powered by the mighty Wright R-3350 radial engine and could carry an enormous load of bombs and rockets on a great many hardpoints. The A-1J version was the last production variant, with strengthened wings and minor changes. Its endurance and load-carrying ability made it highly valued among ground units.
Bond the plastic with liquid modeling cement. In the large 1:32 scale it pays to spend time on the engine and the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Mask the glazing and spray over a primer. Fit the generous underwing stores last, according to the markings you have chosen; the large wing surfaces will reward an even coat from an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
