Eduard 1:32 A-4E armament is a photo-etched set for detailing the underwing armament and the pylons of a model of the Douglas A-4E Skyhawk attack aircraft. It is an accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard focused on the armament of a model of the Douglas A-4E Skyhawk attack aircraft in 1:32 scale. The metal parts refine the pylons, the mountings and the small features of the underwing armament. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a plastic kit.
The set adds the fine details of the pylons and the carried armament that injection-molded plastic cannot capture faithfully enough. It makes a more realistic treatment of the stores and their mountings under the wings and the fuselage of a model possible.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was an American single-engine carrier-based attack aircraft. The A-4E version was among the improved variants and was deployed above all with the US Navy. The Skyhawk was marked by its small size and its ability to carry a considerable amount of armament.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade, form the bends with a bending tool and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or a glue for etching. Degrease the surface before gluing, and once a base coat has been applied paint the parts together with the armament.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
