A-7 Corsair II 1:32 - radar, electronics and landing gear bays is an accessory set of the Black Dog marque that accentuates the three most watched places of the large carrier-based attack aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The accessory item from Black Dog aims at three places that injection molds of a large scale usually treat only cursorily: the nose section with the radar, the instrument equipment and the open bays of the landing gear. The set extends a finished plastic model and does not form an aircraft by itself.
The subsonic carrier-based attack aircraft came about in the middle of the 1960s as a successor to the light Skyhawk and followed the F-8 Crusader fighter in shape, albeit with a shorter and stockier fuselage. The US Navy flew it over Southeast Asia, later the type was taken over by the US Air Force and by several foreign users as well. In modeling terms it is interesting precisely for its intricate nose and richly equipped spaces, which once opened become the main attraction of a whole display case.
First try the seating dry and only then deal with the glue: with small parts a cyanoacrylate one proves itself, and with larger contact surfaces a two-component one. The opening in the kit usually has to be widened slightly, so that the part beds down without tension. Before painting, degrease the surface and spray a thin layer of primer. The bays come across believably when a dark wash is let into the hollows and the edges are lightened slightly with a dry brush.
The package does not contain the paints, the glue or the base kit.
