This resin detail set from Aires in 1:32 scale brings a set of add-on parts for a model of the A-7E Corsair II attack aircraft in the form for the early version. It is not an airplane model but a resin accessory for a kit, which combines several detail elements into one whole. The form for the early version is a separate variant, different from the set for the late version. The set is intended for more experienced modelers and is supplied as resin castings to be assembled and painted.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was a subsonic carrier-based attack aircraft with a large weapons load. The A-7E version was one of the most widespread forms and went through partial changes during its service, so the early and the late appearance differed in detail. The detail set adds to a model the fine features that an injection-molded kit simplifies.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The details come out well with matte shades, a wash into the recesses and a fine accent on the edges. Always check the fit with your particular kit before gluing.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
