Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set of AGM-12C Bullpup B air-to-ground guided missiles in 1:32 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft kit, but armament for hanging under a model under construction. The name gives a range of carriers, among them the A-4, Grumman A-6, A-7, F-4, F-8, F-100, F-105, P-3 Orion, Sea Vixen and Buccaneer.
The Bullpup was one of the first American air-to-ground guided missiles put into service in quantity. After launch the pilot steered it by hand with a radio command and had to watch the flare in the tail of the missile as he did so - which meant flying on toward the target and not letting it out of his sight, an unpleasant thing over a defensive position. The AGM-12C version, designated Bullpup B, was substantially larger and heavier than the original form and carried a far more powerful warhead. Missiles of this type appeared in numbers under the wings of American machines in the sixties, and to a lesser extent European naval aviation and allies used them as well.
