The AGM-88 anti-radiation guided missile in 1:32 scale as an armament accessory for a model of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The AGM-88 is an American anti-radiation air-to-ground guided missile. It homes on the emissions of hostile radars, so it serves to suppress air defenses: an aircraft launches it against a tracking radar and the missile finds its own way to it. It is carried by a number of combat aircraft of the US Air Force and Navy and since the 1980s it has been one of the most widespread weapons of its kind in the West. In shape it is a long slender body with forward control surfaces and rear stabilizing fins.
The AGM-88 missile in 1:32 scale as an accessory for a model of an aircraft. The number of pieces in the package, any racks and the kit the set is prepared for are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Add-on armament is useful where a kit offers only a simplified shape or where you want to assemble a different set of stores under the wings.
The parts are not polystyrene, so they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand off the remainder, so that the body of the missile stays smooth and symmetrical. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Compare the set of stores and the position of the missile with photographs of the machine you are building.
The kit of the aircraft, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
