Precisely cut self-adhesive masks for spraying the American national insignia and the technical stencils of the TBM-3 Avenger carrier torpedo bomber in the large 1:32 scale. You lay the mask on the model, spray the color with an airbrush and, once it is off, sharply defined markings stay painted directly in the finish. The set serves as a full replacement for decals and, besides the stars and bars, it holds smaller lettering and instructions for the placement.
The Grumman TBF, built under license by General Motors (Eastern Aircraft) as the TBM-3, was the main torpedo and carrier bomber of the US Navy in the second half of the Second World War. It was marked by a rugged structure, a powered dorsal turret and a large bomb bay.
Apply the masks to dry, smooth paintwork and spray multicolor insignia layer by layer. Painted markings have a sharper edge than a decal, they do not lift and they weather well. Before you peel the mask away, ease the paint off the edges so that the finish does not lift.
This is a separate set of masks. The model, paints and an airbrush are not included in the package.
