A pair of ejection seats for models of the British BAe Harrier aircraft in the GR.3, GR.7 and GR.9 versions in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Harrier was a British ground-attack aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing. The GR.3 version belongs to the first generation of these machines, whereas the GR.7 and GR.9 are later aircraft of the second generation, that is, of the Harrier II family. The cockpit stayed tight on them too and the seat takes up a substantial part of the space in it.
The set contains two ejection seats in 1:32 scale, intended for the versions stated in the name. A pair comes in handy when you are building two models at once, or when you want to keep the second piece as a reserve in case the first one does not come off in painting.
The shape of the seat differs between the versions of the Harrier, so before building compare the part with references for the machine you want to build. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Paint the shell with a dark shade, distinguish the seat pan and the backrest with the tone of the upholstery and pick out the straps with a lighter color. Try the seating in the cockpit dry still before the fuselage is glued together, as the seat tends to be a tight fit in the Harrier.
This is an accessory for building a model. The paints, the glue and the model of the aircraft are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
