This resin set renders the pilot's cabin of the British supersonic Lightning fighter aircraft in the F.1A and F.3 versions in 1:32 scale in detail. It is not a stand-alone model but an accessory replacing the cockpit from a plastic kit with a more faithful instrument panel, side consoles, cabin tub and further details.
The Lightning was a British supersonic interceptor of the Cold War period, capable of speeds exceeding twice the speed of sound. It was marked by the unusual arrangement of two jet engines stacked one above the other. The F.1A and F.3 versions were among its interceptor variants.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The cabin is glued in before closing the fuselage, so build and paint it in advance. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
