Quickboost porcupine exhausts I for the Bristol Beaufighter in 1:32 scale. A resin replacement for the exhaust stubs from Aires, for more faithful detail on the engines.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory from the Quickboost brand by Aires in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the exhaust stubs on the engines of the Beaufighter, which were nicknamed porcupine for their radial arrangement. It is not a model of the aircraft but an aftermarket part. The designation I sets this variant apart from the second version of the exhausts in the same line.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy fighter and attack aircraft of the Second World War, also used as a night fighter and a torpedo bomber. It was powered by radial engines, and the radially arranged exhausts were one of its recognition marks.
Wash the stubs, cut them off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Drilling out the mouths and shading them lightly will raise the realistic impression.
