Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2 Western Front is a plastic kit of the German fighter in 1:32 scale from the Hobby 2000 brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2 fighter in the large 1:32 scale, with markings for aircraft deployed on the Western Front. The Hobby 2000 release combines good plastic with Cartograf decals, masks and additional metal parts. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Bf 109 F-2 version was among the first production machines of the Friedrich family and carried a 15 mm engine-mounted cannon supplemented by machine guns. The aerodynamically cleaner airframe brought better flying qualities than the earlier E series. On the Western Front these machines flew with units operating over the English Channel and northern France in 1941.
The large scale brings out the detail of the cockpit and the engine section; the enclosed metal parts add to the fidelity. Spray the glazing using the masks and glue the plastic with liquid cement. A primer, an airbrush for the period shades and a fine wash are recommended; apply the Cartograf decals over a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
