A resin detail accessory from the Quickboost brand by Aires in 1:32 scale. The set sharpens up the air intake, that is the inlets feeding the engine, with more faithfully shaped resin parts. It is not a model of the aircraft but an aftermarket accessory that raises the fidelity of a finished build.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American supersonic fighter-bomber committed above all during the war in Vietnam. The air intakes set in the wing roots had a characteristic shape adapted to supersonic flight.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Check how they seat on the fuselage before gluing.
