The set holds resin exhausts for a model of the Bf 109E fighter in 1:32 scale. Quickboost is a brand of aftermarket accessories; the faithfully cast exhaust stubs with drilled-out ends replace the simplified plastic parts from the kit. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for raising the detail.
The Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was a key version of the German fighter of the early Second World War. It was powered by an inverted V12 engine whose exhaust stubs emerged along the sides of the forward fuselage and were among the prominent details.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate the casting blocks and sand the surfaces down. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the exhausts with a dark metallic undercoat, then shades of burnt steel and rust; pigments will give the realistic staining of the exhaust gases.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
