A resin seat with cast safety belts for the Bf 109E in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (the Aires range): a ready-made detail for the cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin pilot seat with safety belts cast directly in relief, for a kit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (a production range of the Aires company). It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for the cockpit that replaces the bare plastic seat from a kit. The belts are part of the casting, so they add realistic detail without any need for photo-etch.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was one of the key versions of the German fighter at the start of the Second World War and was used among other places in the Battle of Britain. It was powered by a liquid-cooled inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine. The cockpit was cramped and clearly visible with the canopy slid back, so a faithful seat noticeably stands out in it.
First wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue and separate them carefully from the casting block; sand with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the seat separately before fitting it: a base coat, shades for the cushion and the belts and a fine wash or a dry brush to bring out the relief.
This is a resin accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
