This is a resin detail set of the cockpit in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a kit, which replaces the interior from the kit with more faithful resin parts. The set is intended for more experienced modelers building the Bf 109G-6.
The Bf 109G-6 is one of the most widespread versions of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter of the Second World War, easily recognized by the protruding gun blisters on the nose. Its cramped cockpit with its characteristic instrument panel and side consoles lends itself perfectly to a faithful rendering. The set refines the instrument panel, the side walls, the seat and other features of the cockpit.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Lay down a primer before painting; the cockpit comes out well in the typical interior shade, with a wash and a dry brush on the edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
