The set holds resin gun barrels for the on-board armament of a model of the Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:32 scale. Quickboost is a brand of aftermarket accessories; the precisely cast barrels replace the simplified plastic parts from the kit and give the model a faithful look at the muzzles. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for raising the detail.
The Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of the German fighter of the Second World War. The G-6 version was characteristic for the prominent fairings over the cowling connected with the on-board armament and became one of the most produced subversions of the type.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces down. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the barrels with a primer and then a metallic shade; the muzzles can be emphasized and a fine difference in the metal brought out with a dry brush or a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
