This is a resin detail set from the Brassin range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory: the set contains faithfully cast main landing gear wheels for the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:32 scale. The rims usually come as separate parts and the tires are rendered in a weighted state.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of the German fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by an inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine, and the identifying mark of the G-6 version was the characteristic bulges over the gun breeches above the engine, known as the Beulen.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the rims and the tires separately before gluing them together. The flattened contact patch of the tire helps the model to sit realistically.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
