An accessory set for the crew compartment of a model of the B-24 Liberator bomber in the D and J versions, 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The B-24 Liberator from Consolidated is an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. You recognize it by its high-set slender wing, its twin vertical tail and its boxy fuselage with a roomy bomb bay. The D version is among the older variants with a glazed nose, the J version among the later and most numerous ones. On a machine this large the crew compartment is clearly visible in 1:32 scale, and a kit usually renders it only in broad outline.
The set is intended for detailing the crew compartment of a B-24 model in the D and J versions in 1:32 scale. The parts are fitted in place of parts from the kit or added where the kit does not deal with the detail. The scope of the set and the order of the steps are given by the manufacturer in the instructions, which you should follow during the build.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Finish the whole cockpit before you close up a fuselage half; once it is glued you can no longer get into it. It pays to work from the large areas to the small details and to fit the instrument panel and the seats only after the surroundings have been painted. A dry test of every part saves work, because the seat for an accessory often has to be adjusted slightly in the kit.
This is an accessory set for a build. The model kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
