1:32 Curtiss Hawk 81 A-2 (A.V.G.) camouflage mask

Curtiss Hawk 81 A-2 painting masks - A.V.G. (1:32)

A set of self-adhesive painting masks for spraying the upper camouflage scheme onto a model of the Curtiss Hawk 81 A-2 as flown by the American Volunteer Group (A.V.G., the Flying Tigers) in 1:32 scale. These are neither decals nor paints: the masks define the exact dividing edges between the shades, so you can spray the pattern crisply and repeatably with an airbrush.

Use

• Stick the masks onto the already sprayed first shade following the enclosed plan.
• Spray over with the second shade of the upper camouflage.
• Once dry, peel the masks off carefully and a clean dividing edge appears.
• The shaped parts follow the panels and leading edges of the type, which is why they fit the particular model.

Who the set is for

For modelers building the Curtiss Hawk 81 A-2 in 1:32 scale who want the exact camouflage of the A.V.G. machines without laboriously cutting their own masks.

The masks are tied to a particular type and scale of model; with a different kit they may not line up exactly. The package contains only painting masks - paints, glue and the model are not included.
