A photo-etched set of details in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker Eduard, meant for a model of the Airco DH.2 fighter biplane. The set adds the fine interior as well as exterior parts that plastic castings cannot capture faithfully at this scale. This is not an airplane model but a stand-alone detail accessory.
The Airco DH.2 was a British single-seat fighter biplane of the First World War with a pusher propeller behind the pilot. Thanks to the open structure of the nacelle and the lattice booms, many small parts are visible on a model, and this set refines them.
Break the parts out with a sharp blade, make the bends over a ruler and handle the small parts with tweezers. The etching is fixed with super glue; the painted surfaces are best touched up only once the parts are seated. On a biplane it helps to match the etching with the bracing you will rig later.
The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts. The airplane model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
