This set holds the landing gear bays cast in resin for the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft in the EF 2000A version in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that replaces the landing gear bays of the base plastic model with a more faithful casting with rich structure. It is made by Aires, a Czech brand focused on resin detail sets for aircraft models.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European multirole fighter with a delta wing and canard foreplanes. The wheel bays are clearly visible on a model with the landing gear extended, which is why a detailed rendering of them markedly raises the realism of the finished build.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate the casting blocks carefully and sand the parting lines. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The bays usually call for reworking the inner side of the fuselage and the wing; lay down a primer before painting, then pick out the surfaces with a wash and a dry brush.
This is a resin accessory, not an airplane model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
