Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:32 scale from the British manufacturer Xtradecal, intended for models of the Eurofighter Typhoon in the version designated FGR.4 in British service. The package is an accessory for a model under way or finished and contains no plastic parts.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European twin-engined supersonic aircraft with a delta-canard aerodynamic layout, that is with a triangular wing and foreplanes. The British FGR.4 designation belongs to the multirole version able to carry out both air combat and attacks on ground targets. The surface of the real machines is covered largely with low-visibility markings in subdued gray shades, supplemented by more colorful items on the vertical tail.
Modern aircraft have a matte or semi-matte surface, which is in direct conflict with decals, as these need a gloss base. The procedure is therefore in two phases: go over the base finish with a gloss varnish, apply the decals, let them dry properly and only then return the surface to its original character with a final matte or semi-matte varnish. That final coat is crucial, because it unifies the sheen between the decal and its surroundings and at the same time hides any outline of the carrier film. Lay it on in two or three very thin coats with a pause between them, as one heavy coat tends to bloom white, especially in a damp environment. Low-visibility markings are often only a shade different from the base, so once they are dry, check the position of the items under side lighting.
The package contains decals only. The kit, paints, glue and varnishes are not included, unless stated otherwise.
