1:32 F-104 undercarriage wheels late is a resin set of landing gear wheels of the late type for the kit of the F-104 Starfighter fighter from the manufacturer Eduard.

This is a resin detail accessory, not a model of an airplane in its own right. The set from the BRASSIN line replaces the plastic landing gear wheels in 1:32 scale with precisely cast resin parts of the late type. It captures the tread pattern of the tires as well as the detail of the hubs faithfully and tends to be filled out with a self-adhesive mask for easy separation of the paint of the tire from the hub.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was an American single-engine supersonic fighter and interceptor aircraft with a characteristic short straight wing with a sharp leading edge. It served from the end of the 1950s with a number of air forces and became known for its high speed as well as its rate of climb. The wheels of the late type answer to the machines newer in service.
First wash the parts clean of the remains of the mold release agent and carefully separate them from the casting blocks. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting the tires in shades of dark gray instead of pure black, and the hubs then in a silver or metallic paint; the enclosed mask makes a clean transition easier.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
