The F-105D 3D printed color interior 1:32 (Quinta Studio) is a set of raised decals on carrier paper, which brings realistic instrument detail into the cockpit of the Thunderchief without photo-etched parts and painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of color 3D printed decals for the cockpit of the fighter bomber F-105D in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Quinta Studio. It is not a model of the airplane but a detail accessory for F-105D models in this scale. The detail is printed in a thick raised layer on decal film on carrier paper and once applied it comes across as three-dimensional, not flat.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief, nicknamed the Thud, was a massive American single-seat fighter bomber with a powerful jet engine, which made a marked entry into the deployment over Vietnam. The F-105D version was the most widespread single-seat variant intended for strikes in any weather. The roomy cockpit is a rewarding area for modelers.
The elements have no adhesive layer of their own: the piece is cut out of the sheet, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the carrier decal paper into place. Sand the area of the kit smooth beforehand and clear-coat it with gloss (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22); it is exactly on gloss clear that the element holds, and in broken-up places a drop of cyanoacrylate glue will help. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as their chemistry will attack the printed resin. The set usually brings the instrument panel, the side panels, the belts and placards.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The model of the airplane itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
