Quinta Studio 1:32 F-14D, a 3D printed color interior on decal paper (Trumpeter), small version, is a reduced interior set for the two-seat cockpit of the Tomcat in the large scale.

A two-seat cockpit combined with 1:32 scale means a lot of visible area. The set is color 3D printing on decal paper: the relief and the color are done, and the work lies in preparing the undercoat and in seating the elements precisely. The designation small version says that this is the reduced variant; the full interior version of the same aircraft is carried by the manufacturer separately. The set is cut for the Trumpeter kit.
The F-14D is the last production version of the twin-engined carrier-borne fighter with variable wing geometry. The crew consists of the pilot and the weapon systems officer in the rear cockpit, and the two stations have completely different equipment: the front one is a flying station, while the rear is a station for operating the sensors and the weapons. The D version brought modernized avionics over the older machines, and with them changes in the layout of the panels, so interior sets for the older variants do not fit it.
In 1:32 the thickness of the printed layer shows more markedly. It is not negligible as on an ordinary decal, and in places where two cockpit parts bear against each other it can open up a gap, which then carries over to the fuselage joint or to the seating of the canopy. Before you start gluing, dry-fit the cockpit with the printed panels laid dry in place and check the clearances. Where it is tight, take the plastic down from underneath, not the decal. Always finish the cockpit and let it dry thoroughly before the fuselage halves are joined. Do not use a decal softener while doing so, as it will attack the printed resin.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
