The compartments of the main as well as the nose landing gear are among the places where plastic kits tend to be simplified and where a faithful bay noticeably lifts the overall impression of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before closing the fuselage, check the fit of the bays with the particular kit. The bays tend to be in a light shade; a dark wash into the recesses will bring out the detail.
