A resin replacement part, not a model. This resin casting from the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires) in 1:32 scale represents the control stick for the American F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter. It is an easily fitted resin detail with a faithful grip shape that replaces the plastic from the box. It is supplied unpainted and without an aircraft model.
The F-16 has an unconventional side stick placed on the right-hand side of the cockpit, which is one of its hallmarks. The grip is densely covered with controls and switches, so with the canopy open it is a prominent visible detail. A precisely cast resin stick captures the shape and the articulation of the grip better than the production plastic and brings the cockpit to life once painted.
Wash the part to remove mold release residue, cut off the thin casting block carefully and sand the mating surface gently with respiratory protection. Because it is so small, work with tweezers and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply primer before painting; lay the base with a brush or an airbrush and pick out the individual switches with a fine brush.
The part is supplied unpainted, as a resin casting. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
