This is an Aires resin detail set in 1:32 scale, not an aircraft model. The set replaces the cabin of a base plastic F-16C kit with a faithfully cast interior with a cockpit tub, an instrument panel, side panels and an ejection seat. Aires sets of this type tend to come with photo-etched extras and pre-printed instruments as well.
The General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engined multirole fighter aircraft. The F-16C version is a modern single-seat variant with extended avionics; the cockpit is marked by a characteristically high-set seat and a bubble canopy with an excellent view.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The interior comes out well after painting, toning and bringing out the details with a wash. Before buying, check that the set fits your particular kit.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
