About product

Resin fuel dump pipe for the F-4 Phantom II in 1:32 scale

This is NOT a kit. It is a small resin casting from Quickboost representing the pipe for emergency fuel dumping on a model of the American fighter-bomber McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II in 1:32 scale. The casting has a true thin-walled pipe of the kind that is hard to produce in plastic, and it replaces a simplified or missing kit part.

What it is for

The fuel dump pipe projects at the tail between the engines and is clearly noticeable on a model. Replacing it with a fine resin part is a quick and easy improvement that raises the credibility of the rear of the aircraft.

Usage tips

Wash the mold release agent off the resin part and cut off the casting block. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue; protect your airways when sanding. The fitting is simple and even a less experienced modeler will manage it.

Who the set is for

  • builders of aircraft models in 1:32 scale
  • enthusiasts of the F-4 Phantom II fighter
  • modelers who want a quick, true detail at the tail

The set is an accessory, not a model. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
