Eduard Brassin 1:32 F4U-1 propeller is a resin detail set that replaces the propeller on models of the F4U-1 Corsair fighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model of the aircraft, but a complete replacement propeller for models of the Vought F4U-1 Corsair carrier fighter in 1:32 scale. Precise castings of the blades and the hub capture the shape and the section more faithfully than the parts from the box.
The Corsair was powered by the massive Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial, turning a large-diameter three-blade Hamilton Standard propeller. The resin version offers crisp leading edges on the blades and fine hub detail, so once assembled the propeller looks convincing even from close up.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them down with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring the blades together in matte black with the manufacturer's logo at the tips, and paint the hub to match the aircraft you have chosen. Watch the blade pitch angle when gluing them into the hub.
This is an accessory, not a complete kit. It calls for a matching base model, which is not included in the package. Glue and paints are not enclosed.
