The set contains pre-painted photo-etched steel safety belts (STEEL) for a model of the F4U-1D Corsair fighter in 1:32 scale. Once removed and bent, the pre-printed parts faithfully imitate the restraint belts of the pilot's seat. It is not a model or a kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit.
The Vought F4U-1D Corsair was an American carrier fighter of the Second World War with its characteristic inverted gull wing. The -1D version was among the later production standards deployed in the Pacific.
The pre-painted steel belts are separated with a sharp knife, bent to shape and glued with a small amount of super glue. Thanks to the printed color they usually need no further paint. The detail stands out especially with an open cockpit.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a model. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
