This is not an aircraft model but an accessory for experienced modelers that changes the simplified plastic parts for finely cast resin walls with stiffeners and runs.
The F8F-1 Bearcat was a piston-engined carrier fighter of US naval aviation from the end of the Second World War, prized for its high performance and agility. It was powered by an air-cooled radial engine. Detailed wheel bays will help the landing gear part of a model come into its own.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Apply primer before painting and bring out the detail with shading.
The set is supplied as a resin accessory for a kit, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
