Quinta Studio 1:32 F/A-18C Early Small version is the reduced variant of the three-dimensional 3D interior decal for the early form of the single-seat Hornet in 1:32 scale.

It is an accessory set, not a model of the aircraft. Quinta Studio prints the interior elements three-dimensionally and straight away in color onto decal paper, so the instrument panel, the consoles and the control panels have a relief and legible lettering without painting by hand. This one is the variant designated in the name as the Small version, that is the smaller counterpart of the set for the same aircraft. It suits you when you want to deal with the main visible surfaces of the cockpit quickly and without extra work; anyone who wants to cover the interior to a broader extent will reach for the basic set without this designation.
The F/A-18 Hornet is a twin-engined carrier multirole aircraft in the fighter as well as the attack role. The C version is the single-seat form of the second production generation of the type; early production machines differ from the later ones in avionics equipment, which showed in the arrangement of the instrument panel as well. The sets are therefore released separately for the early and late forms, and the choice is to be made according to the particular machine you are building.
Quinta three-dimensional decals are printed on a decal carrier paper: an element is soaked briefly in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the paper. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on gloss varnish, so spray the cockpit first, let the paint cure and cover the surface with gloss varnish; a matte surface underneath is a mistake. A decal softener and a setting solution do not belong here at all, as their chemistry would attack the printed resin. You will find the exact order of the steps in the instructions enclosed with the set. Work with tweezers with smooth jaws, lay an element down dry first and tune its position, and only then press it home. The displays can be brought alive with a drop of clear gloss varnish.
It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory set. The basic model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
