An accessory wheel set for the kit of the Italian Fiat G.50-II and G.50bis fighter from Special Hobby in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Wheels are seen close up on a finished model and the eye looks for two things on them: the tread pattern and whether the tire sits on the ground or merely touches it. Replacement wheels are therefore among the first accessories builders buy. According to its name the set is intended for the kits of the Fiat G.50-II and G.50bis from the firm Special Hobby, that is, for the Italian fighter of the Second World War period, which in 1:32 scale is large enough for detail on the landing gear to pay off.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let them dry, so that the paint will hold. Cut excess material and traces of manufacture away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder off carefully, so that the tread pattern is not damaged. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; cement for plastic models has no effect on parts that are not polystyrene, and there the joint is held by cyanoacrylate glue. If the wheels have a suggested load on the tire, turn the flattened part toward the ground, otherwise the model looks as if it were floating. The particular procedure and any changes to the landing gear legs are given in the instructions of the manufacturer.
The aircraft kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The number of parts is given on the packaging by the manufacturer.
