Eduard 1:32 Fw 190A-8 wheels are resin wheels with a faithful tire tread for a model of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of wheels in 1:32 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. This is not an aircraft model but a replacement for the main landing gear wheels of a Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 fighter model. The castings faithfully capture both the tire tread and the texture of the rim, and they are usually cast with a realistic flattening at the contact patch, a weighted wheel, which plastic parts normally lack.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 was one of the most widely built versions of the German Second World War fighter powered by a radial engine. Its sturdy landing gear with a wide track allowed operations from field airfields. Faithful wheels are among the details that noticeably lift the realism of a finished model.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and carefully cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your airways while sanding. The rims are usually sprayed separately from the tires, and circular masks are handy for masking the rim. The tires can be picked out with a light dusting of pigment.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
