Fw 190F-8 gun bay cover 1:32 is a resin detail part from the maker Aires. It replaces the plastic upper fuselage cover with a more faithful replica; it is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail part in 1:32 scale from the maker Aires, the Quickboost line. It is not a kit of the airplane but an accessory that replaces the plastic upper cover of the gun bay in the nose of the fuselage with a more precise resin part. The part is meant to be built into a matching plastic model.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190F-8 was the ground-attack version of the Fw 190 fighter with a radial engine, derived from the A-8 variant. It was adapted for attacks on ground targets and for carrying bombs. The cover in the nose of the fuselage closed off the bay with the guns, and its faithful shape is among the details that sharpen up a build.
Wash the part free of mold release residue, cut off the casting block carefully and glue it with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Dry-fit the part before gluing and rework the surrounding plastic if need be. Spray the surface to match the rest of the fuselage, so that the part blends into the overall finish.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
