A photo-etched set from the Copper State Models brand, a specialist in the aviation and the machinery of the First World War, intended for detailing the cockpits of German machines in 1:32 scale. It is not a model - it is an accessory with which you can lift the instrument panel and the instrument equipment of the cabin to the level that the large 1:32 scale positively invites you to show.
The cockpit is the center of attention on models of aircraft of the First World War - an open cabin leaves the interior fully in view. Finely rendered gauges with faithful detail will therefore make an enormous difference against the plastic moldings from the kit. The set is conceived universally for German aircraft of the period, so it will find a use on single-seat and two-seat machines alike.
Separate the small photo-etched parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface and take hold of them with tweezers with roughened tips - you will keep hold of them all the more easily. Glue with minimal amounts of super glue applied with a pin. The bezels of the gauges will show at their best once painted and gently dry brushed; the glass of the gauges can be imitated with a drop of gloss varnish or of crystal clear resin.
An accessory set - the kit of the aircraft, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
