A figure of a Luftwaffe pilot in tropical dress for the North African theater, 1:32 scale, the first part of the line.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is aimed at a Luftwaffe pilot in North Africa and carries the sequence number 1 in the line. Flying over the desert meant different gear than over Europe: in place of the dark uniform came light tropical trousers and a shirt in sand and yellowish tones, and with them goggles against the dust and light headgear. The combination of faded fabric, a tanned face and an inflatable life vest makes such a figure a rewarding accessory for a display case.
It stands out most by an aircraft model of the 1:32 scale or in a diorama with a sand surface, where the figure gives the scene scale and movement. An adult man comes out in this scale at roughly five and a half centimeters, so it pays to devote time to the face and to the small items of gear, which can be seen well.
The figure is supplied unpainted and ready to be built. The paints, glue and base are not included, unless stated otherwise.
