1:32 Gnome-Rhone 14M is a resin model of the French Gnome-Rhône 14M radial aircraft engine for superdetailing models of airplanes. It is not a kit of an airplane, but an engine set.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Mettalic Details brings a faithful model of the French Gnome-Rhône 14M radial aircraft engine in 1:32 scale. The parts are made of resin by high-resolution 3D printing technology. This is not a kit of an airplane, but a separate detailed engine set for an exposed engine or as a replacement for the simplified part.
The Gnome-Rhône 14M was a small air-cooled fourteen-cylinder two-row radial engine. Compared with the larger 14N type it had a smaller displacement, lower output and lower weight. It powered a range of French as well as German machines of the Second World War, for example the Henschel Hs 129 or some variants of the Potez airplanes. The model captures the arrangement of the cylinders as well as the auxiliary units.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and the remains of print supports and sand them with protection of the airways. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a faithful appearance accentuate the individual parts: the metal cylinders, the darker blocks and the fine wiring with the help of washes and a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and the model of the airplane itself are not included in the package.
