A detailing part that replaces the seat from the plastic kit. In 1:32 scale the seat is the largest element of the cockpit and you recognize its shape even with a fleeting glance under the hinged door. A model of the aircraft is not the object of the delivery.
The Hawker Hurricane was the first monoplane fighter of the Royal Air Force with retractable landing gear and in the Battle of Britain it shot down more enemy machines than all the other defensive means together. In its design it came from the older school: the basis was formed by a truss frame of steel tubes, which carried fabric covering in the rear part of the fuselage. The cockpit is therefore roomier than in later fighters and the supporting structure stays visible in it, which suits detailing exceptionally well.
British cockpits of that time keep a dark green-gray interior shade, on which careful accentuation of the edges comes off well. On British fighters from the beginning of the war, seats of molded composition material in a red-brown tone appear, so verify from the documentation of your machine which case you are building. Seat the seat only after the tub has been lacquered and do not forget to verify the height dry, so that neither the pilot nor the instrument panel collides with the canopy.
