Fabric seat belts for the Hawker Tempest Mk.II 1:32 from HGW: laser-cut fabric belts with photo-etched buckles for a convincing rendering of the pilot's seat.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a standalone detail accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The set contains the pilot's harness belts made from a thin microfiber fabric that behaves like real cloth, complemented by photo-etched metal buckles and fittings. The parts are laser cut, so there is no laborious cutting out and the belts are easy to form into realistic folds. Intended for models of the British Hawker Tempest Mk.II fighter in 1:32 scale.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.II was a British single-seat fighter of the end of the Second World War, powered by a Bristol Centaurus radial engine. It was marked by high speed and heavy armament and went on serving into the postwar years.
The belts are bonded with super glue or spot-fixed with dispersion glue. The fabric can be painted over and weathered with ordinary acrylics, and we recommend degreasing the photo-etched buckles before gluing and weathering them lightly for a metal look. The belts can be left buckled up or draped loosely over the seat.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
