A resin detail set from the Brassin range. It is not an airplane model but a quality accessory that replaces the wheels from the plastic kit with more faithful castings. The tire is shaped so as to correct the usual inaccuracy of the tread pattern from plastic molds; the main wheels and the nose wheel are each made up of several parts (tire and hubs).
The set is intended for models of the German twin-engine Heinkel He 219 Uhu night fighter in 1:32 scale. The Uhu was among the most modern night fighters of its day, with nose landing gear and ejection seats. Resin wheels give the substantial landing gear a realistic look and the correct tread pattern.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Resin is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Separate the tire and the hub when painting with a mask or a circle template; finish with a light dusting of pigments.
This is a resin accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
