Eduard 1:32 Hurricane Mk.II wheels (resin)

A refining set of replacement wheels in resin from Eduard in 1:32 scale. The wheels replace the simplified plastic parts from the box of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.II model and bring a sharper tire tread and realistic flattening of the tire where it meets the ground. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for the main landing gear.

Use and tips

  • before gluing, wash the wheels free of mold release agent and let them dry
  • cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean up the mating surfaces
  • bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate)
  • when spraying the tires, use a covering mask if one is included, for a clean transition between hub and tire

No. It is a set of replacement wheels in resin for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.II 1:32 model. The aircraft model itself is not included in the package.

They have a sharper tire tread and realistic flattening where the tire meets the ground, so the landing gear reads more convincingly than the simplified parts from the box.

Resin parts are washed free of mold release agent before gluing, the casting blocks are cut off and they are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
