A resin accessory from Eduard out of the Brassin range in 1:32 scale. It is not a model but a set for building unguided HVAR aircraft rockets. Photo-etched parts and decals are usually included as well. The set serves as external stores for plastic kits of aircraft of the Second World War and the Korean War that carried these rockets.
The HVAR is an American five-inch unguided air-to-ground aircraft rocket, widely used from the end of the Second World War and in Korea. It was carried by a range of machines, for example the Corsair, the Skyraider, the Mustang and the Bearcat, on underwing pylons. The set therefore adds period-accurate attack armament to a model, with the fine resin detail that the parts from the box usually lack.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces gently with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fins are thin and fragile, so handle them carefully. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers.
The set holds resin rockets and add-on parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
