This is NOT a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory. The set contains two turned metal barrels for the Japanese aircraft machine gun of 7.7 mm caliber, the Type 97, in 1:32 scale. The metal parts replace the soft plastic barrels from the box and give the model fine, realistic detail.
The Type 97 was a Japanese aircraft machine gun of 7.7 mm caliber that armed a number of Japanese aircraft in the Second World War. It was used as both fixed and flexible armament and was derived from a British design.
Glue the metal barrels with cyanoacrylate into drilled holes. First deburr and degrease the parts, after which they can be painted in metallic shades. Metal is stronger and more resistant to bending than a plastic barrel.
This is a metal detail accessory, not an aircraft kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
