The set holds a resin propeller for a model of the Junkers Ju 87D dive bomber in 1:32 scale. Quickboost is a brand of aftermarket accessories; the faithfully cast propeller with blades of the correct section replaces the simplified part from the kit and sharpens up one of the most conspicuous features of the model. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for raising the detail.
The Junkers Ju 87D, nicknamed Stuka, was a dive bomber with a characteristic inverted gull wing, committed to action in the time of the Second World War. The D version was aerodynamically reworked and powered by a more potent engine with a large propeller.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate the casting block and sand the surfaces down. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is a good idea to line the blades up to the same angle before gluing; once painted, a fine difference on the leading edges and some wear will add realism.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
