1:32 Junkers Ju-88 Fighters from AIMS is a double decal set for the fighter and night fighter versions of the Ju 88, that is the G-1, G-6, C-4 and C-6.

A more extensive package of two sheets, aimed solely at the hunting forms of the Junkers Ju 88. It covers the G-1 and G-6 subversions with the wooden vertical tail as well as the older C-4 and C-6 with the solid nose. It is precisely the double extent that sets this item apart from the usual single-sheet sets of the range.
While the bombing career of the Ju 88 weakened in the second half of the war, as a night fighter the type was at its peak. The machines of the G series carried a radar with an aerial array on the nose, cannons aimed obliquely upward and a numerous crew, which had to handle navigation, the radar and the gunnery. They were sent against the night streams of the British bomber force and were among the most effective night fighters of their day. The crews learned to read the radar picture in the dark and closed on a stream from below, where the gunners of the bombers could hardly catch sight of them.
Aerials and gun barrels tend to be fragile on a model, so apply the decals before you fit them. Dark shades are brought out by a gloss intermediate coat, or the edges of the carrier film would show through. The numerals on the fin and the unit insignia settle more easily in sections. Go through the enclosed guide to the markings before you start cutting, as the order of the elements is not the same for every machine.
