Quickboost Kawasaki Ki 61 Hien landing gear covers 1:32 is a resin detail accessory for building the Japanese Ki-61 Hien fighter. It is not an airplane model but an aftermarket part.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory from the maker Quickboost is a resin set of covers, that is doors, for the main landing gear in 1:32 scale. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but a detail part meant for the plastic kit of the Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien fighter. The cast covers have a more faithful edge thickness and inner texture than the parts from the base kit. Check the exact contents of the package against the particular edition.
The Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien was a Japanese fighter of the Second World War. It differed from most Japanese types in its liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, which derived from a German powerplant built under license. Thanks to that it had a slender nose and an aerodynamic profile untypical of the Japanese fighters of the day.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend spraying a primer, then the color of the wheel wells, and finally picking the detail out with a wash and a dry brush.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
