A figure of a standing female pilot in 1:32 scale, intended for models of the LTV A-7D or A-7E Corsair II attack aircraft. One piece, the type 2 form.
Responsibility details are not available.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II is an American subsonic attack aircraft that came about in the 1960s from the shape of the F-8 Crusader fighter. Its short, stubby fuselage with the large air intake under the cockpit gave it an unmistakable look, and its large load capacity made it a hard-working machine for strikes on ground targets. The designation A-7D belongs to the air force version and the A-7E to the navy version. It is for models of both versions that this figure is intended.
One piece, that is, a standing figure of a female pilot in flying equipment, in 1:32 scale. The type 2 qualifier distinguishes the individual forms within the range, so several different stances can be put together at a display case over time. The part is supplied unpainted; the division into parts and the recommended shades are described in the manufacturer's instructions.
The part is not polystyrene and ordinary modeling cement has no effect on it; use cyanoacrylate glue. Cut off the excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the figure and carefully sand what is left, so as not to wipe away the shape. Wash and degrease it before painting, otherwise the paint will hold poorly. A primer works well, with the main shade of the equipment over it and finally a dark glaze into the folds with a dry brush on the edges. Leave the face for last; it decides the whole impression.
A figure in 1:32 scale gives a standing model its scale and naturally directs the viewer's gaze to the cockpit. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
